The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has recently expanded its visa-on-arrival program for Indian nationals. Effective from February 13, 2025, Indian passport holders with valid residence permits or visas from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, or South Korea are now eligible to obtain a visa upon arrival at any UAE entry point .
This expansion builds upon the existing eligibility criteria, which already allowed Indian nationals to receive a visa on arrival if they held valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from the United States, European Union, or United Kingdom. The updated policy aims to enhance travel convenience for Indian citizens residing in these countries, facilitating easier access to the UAE for tourism and business purposes.
To qualify, travelers must ensure that their passports and the relevant visas or residence permits have a minimum validity of six months from the date of arrival in the UAE. This initiative reflects the UAE's commitment to strengthening international relations and promoting tourism and business travel.
